Fortunately there are quite a few people within this world who want to own and operate their own business. A young man living in Texas has started his own nonprofit organization Houston TX and it is going well. He first got the idea to start this program while living in Atlanta Georgia nearly fifteen years ago.
He was working for the state of Georgia as an Employment Services person and the job was going really well for him. His very smart manager told him to organize a community program which would benefit the young people within the area. Rex was happy to do this deed and he immediately contacted a local attorney and her friend.
The students at the High School enjoyed this career program and told their counselor this great news. In no time at all the career counselor asked Rex to do the same type of program for a boys group home which he operated in town. The two gentlemen took the time to create a very unique program for the boys and it was quite successful.
Later on Rex enjoyed visiting the group home for several years and he learnt many things about the students and their counselors. Every individual had a story to tell and some of them were very tragic. Rex knew that he had to somehow continue this program after leaving from Atlanta. He arrived in Texas in 2006 and his sister and her family were very happy to welcome him into their home. He was also fortunate that his job gave him a transfer. Rex also wanted to present his program to the government.
Fortunately the government agreed to send him the paper work in order for this event to happen. Once everything was in order he now had the power to market his program to a local business in Texas. This was yet another boys group home and the counselor at this program was named Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith and Rex decided that the program should introduce positive role models to the troubled young men throughout the year.
The boys were finally able to attend trips to the museum and other places within the state of Texas. For years no one had really taken the time to arrange field trips and other events for them. These young men were truly grateful to Rex and all of the others who became involved.
Rex also received various donations from people around the state who wanted to become involved on some small level. The program also introduced employment opportunities for the boys who were about to finish high school. Mr. Smith loved this idea since he had such a hard time to attract employers.
Mr. Smith was finally able to get the gym built for his boys that he had been working on for years. Many of the local military males decided to lend their support to the program and they even arranged outings with the boys to play football and other sports. In the end everyone benefited from this experience and each and every boy felt better about their lives.
